Are my posts private?
The posts you have not shared remain fully private to only you. Only when you share them to the collective or with buddies your posts will be seen by other people. Posts shared to the collective will remain anonymous, and posts shared with your buddies with have your name in them.
What is the collective?
Collective is the place where you can share your thoughts anonymously with the Think community.
In the collective feed all posts are anonymous, and users cannot see your name there as you will also not be able to see who the authors of those posts are. Share in a safe space and set your thoughts free.
How does buddies work?
Buddies is for sharing with your closest friends.
Your Buddies will be able to see your name in your posts shared to the Buddies feed, and you will be able to see their names in the Buddies feed. Your Buddies will still remain anonymous within the collective.
Click on the ‘Invite buddies’ button to send your buddies a link and get instantly connected.
My buddies link is not working?
Some applications don’t allow for app links, like Instagram messaging and Facebook messaging. If you have shared the link with your friends through any of those apps it is likely the link will show as not found.
To solve this, It is best to share your buddies link through Whatsapp, messages, e-mail or simply by pasting it into a note and tapping it from there. If you still have problems please do not hesitate to contact us.
Why do you need my phone number?
Phone number verification is one of the safest ways for you and the community to sign up to the platform. There are various reasons we have chosen this method:
1- It helps prevent the sign up of bots and disingenuous behaviour in the platform. Phone verification helps us with the security and aid to have real people in the platform who are intentional about joining the app.
2- It provides security to the users as only by having the phone near you you will be able to sign in. This prevents password leaking and hack attacks.
3- We are only available to english speaking countries at the moment, Phone verification helps us manage our expansion in the desired countries.
